voicethread gives users an excellent way to discuss tihngs with a large group and gather data that they wouldnt have the chance to before. Among the videos that I watched was one titled "would you stay in chernobyl after the meltdown?" One simple question with over fifty responses. This provides an excellent outlet for people to gather infromation from an extensive demographic, which is obviously very useful. Some of the others were more controversial and serves as great debate jumping points. This is also a great way to practice your debate skills in a public way. These features, coupled with the fact that it is free and it takes minutes to set up provides a formula for success
